Lorraine Lucas Kryzs will defend the colors of France in rifle shooting at the Paris Olympic Games

Shooter Lucas Kryzs, 23, will participate in his very first Olympic Games in Paris this summer. Originally from Baccarat, and licensed to the Nitting shooting company, this rifle specialist now trains at INSEP in Paris. He announced it this Saturday on his Facebook page.

First shots at the Lunéville club

Lucas Kryzs discovered precision shooting still a child, in the mid-2000s, during a patronal festival. His parents enrolled him at the Lunéville shooting club, before heading to the Nitting shooting company, near Sarrebourg, one of the best clubs in the region. It was there that Lucas got noticed by the federation, and then joined the French team. In 2022, he won the silver medal in the 50 meters category 3 team positions at the World Shooting Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

For these 2024 Olympics, Lorraine is entered in three competitions : the 50 meters 3 positions, the 10 meters, and the mixed 10 meters. The Olympic shooting events will take place in Châteauroux.
