Here is our selection of video game releases for this month of June 2024. It’s a bit like the month of ambitious expansions for titles already well established with the arrival of DLC The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, Destiny 2: Final Formbut above all the much awaited ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree. Around these releases, we have selected the arena combat game for our TOP 5 of the month Star Wars: Hunters and the survival horror Still Wakes the Deep for a good dose of action and scares. This month of June 2024 is also synonymous with video game events with the return of Summer Game Fest (from June 6 to 10) and its share of conferences and numerous announcements in perspective. The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road:

Release date: June 3, 2024 on PC/Mac, June 18, 2024 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is the new expansion version 2024 of the MMORPG Bethesda Softworks released in 2014. This DLC follows the events that took place in Necrom and offers a brand new story with the discovery of a Daedric prince never seen before in the series. You will explore a new area located in the Western Weald, a prosperous region that first appeared in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivionwhere you can visit the city of Skingrad and meet the extremely wealthy Colovian Imperials. Among the new features, you will discover new trials, new customizations and a new exclusive skill system called Scripture which will allow you to reinvent your magic. Star Wars: Hunters:

Platform: Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android

Genre: Arena fighting game

Release date: June 4, 2024

First announced in 2021, Star Wars: Hunters finally arrives as a console exclusive on Nintendo Switch, as well as on mobile (iOS and Android). This is an arena fighting game free-to-play developped by Zynga, set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, features a new cast of characters, including bounty hunters, Wookiee warriors, Rebellion heroes, and Imperial stormtroopers. You will be immersed in the shoes of a galactic gladiator and you will have to face other players online, in real time (and in cross play), in visually magnificent settings inspired by locations from the saga. Star Wars: Hunters offers a gameplay based on responsiveness with rapid actions and teamwork. May the force be with you !

Destiny 2: Final Form:

Genre: Multiplayer first-person shooter, Action-RPG, FPS

Release date: June 4, 2024

Here is another expansion for a major title this June with the arrival of the very impressive DLC Destiny 2: Final Form. Released since 2017, the multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Bungie continues to expand with new content despite a massive loss of players in recent times. But this extension could well revive the community’s interest because it will be the conclusion of the saga of Light and Darkness, almost 10 years of history, and will offer a slew of new features. Destiny 2: Final Form will be divided into three acts for a final journey where you will pursue the Witness and face new enemies with your allies. Obviously, a new raid and additional weapons are also on the program.

Still Wakes the Deep:

Platform: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series

Genre: Adventure, Psychological horror, Survival horror

Release date: June 18, 2024

In the middle of all these extensions, there will also be some new features in June 2024. Still Wakes the Deep is a survival horror developed by the studio The Chinese Room and promises us some moments of well-calibrated terror. The game is set in 1975 and you play as an electrician named Caz McLeary stuck on a damaged oil drilling rig in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree:

This year, the arrival of summer coincides for many action-RPG players with the arrival of a titanic expansion for one of the most popular games of recent years, namely ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree. This is undoubtedly the most important DLC in the history of the Japanese studio FromSoftware with a slew of new weapons and combat methods, as well as tough new bosses in the vein of what the main title already offers. This new story will take us in the footsteps of Miquellathe brother of the terrible Maleniain a brand new area called the Land of Shadows. ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree is THE most anticipated title of this month of June 2024 and promises to be epic for all players who wish to immerse themselves in the “Game Of The Year 2022” (game of the year 2022 at the Game Awards).
