JOP 2024: traveling and parking in Boulogne-Billancourt during the Olympic and Paralympic Games

Surface parking

For visitors: paid parking in all usually free zones (orange, red and brown) during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the Boulogne-Billancourt area

In order to avoid saturation of public space, parking will become paying for visitors on Sunday July 28 and from August 1 to 31, 2024, including Sundays and August 15.

For residents and professionals: free parking from July 28 to August 31

Parking will be free for residents, local professionals and other professionals from July 28 to August 31, 2024 for all zones (red, orange and brown)

Attention : To benefit from this free access, residents and professionals must be registered on seineouest.tepark.fr. If you are already registered, you don’t need to do anything.

If you are not yet registered or if your current entitlement expires during this period, register:

  • Online at seineouest.tepark.fr
  • In the INDIGO store in the Marché car parks in Boulogne-Billancourt, Atrium in Chaville, Town Hall in Issy-les-Moulineaux, City Center in Sèvres or Market in Vanves

Parking in parking lot

During the events and particularly within the red perimeters, you can park in the Qpark and INDIGO covered car parks.

Parking lots impacted by marathon events

Car parks located in the red perimeter: they will remain open, but vehicles will not be able to access or exit them while this perimeter is activated.

  • Boulogne-Billancourt Town Hall: 24 bis avenue André Morizet, Boulogne-Billancourt
  • Heyrault: 12-14 rue Heyrault, Boulogne-Billancourt

Car parks located on the edge of the red perimeter: they will remain open, but vehicles will not be able to access or exit them while this perimeter is activated.

  • Bellefeuille: 30 rue de la Belle Feuille, Boulogne-Billancourt
  • Billancourt market: 150 rue du Vieux Pont de Sèvres, Boulogne-Billancourt

Red perimeters of Olympic venues

Roland Garros, Parc des Princes, Porte de Versailles

Red perimeters are security perimeters which aim to secure pedestrian flows around the Olympic and Paralympic sites by limiting motorized traffic. Concerned on the GPSO territory: Rolland Garros, the Parc des Princes and Porte de Versailles.

These perimeters will be systematically activated by the National Police services during Games events (competitions, road races and opening ceremony) 2h30 before the tests and deactivated 1 hour later.

Parking on certain streets will not be permitted. Only local residents, those who work in the area or certain authorized people will be able to travel there by motorized vehicle, and provided they have a digital pass. (QR code) available since May 10, 2024 on pass-jeux.gouv.fr.

Traffic on foot, by bicycle or with any other non-motorized vehicle is not impacted in these areas.

Blue perimeters of Olympic venues

Roland Garros, Parc des Princes, Porte de Versailles

Blue perimeters are security perimeters that allow reduce and divert motorized traffic around red perimeters. Concerned on the GPSO territory: Roland Garros, the Parc des Princes and Porte de Versailles.

These perimeters will be systematically activated by the National Police services during Games events (competitions, road races and opening ceremony) 2h30 before the events and deactivated 1 hour later.

Traffic on foot, by bicycle (including electric), by scooter (including electric) or with any other non-motorized vehicle is not impacted in these areas.

  • For the individualsmotorized access will require the presentation of free proof (legitimate interest in going to this area).
  • For the professionals, a blue zone QR code will be requested by the Police forces to facilitate the control of goods vehicles which intervene/deliver in the blue zone. QR code available since May 17, 2024 on the JOPTIMIZ platform (CirQliz tool).

Marathon: Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August 2024

Within the marathon security perimeter, motorized traffic will be prohibited and all travel will be disrupted.

No QR Code – entries into the red perimeters very limited and left to the discretion of the police forces.

Parking:

  • Boulogne-Billancourt: parking, prohibited from Wednesday August 7 to Tuesday August 13 morning

Traffic prohibited on red perimeters:

  • During the night of Friday August 9 to Saturday August 10. Reopening on Saturday, 3 hours after the Men’s race (early afternoon).
  • Late afternoon from Saturday August 10 to early Sunday August 11 afternoon.

Some stations will be closed or strongly avoided during the JOP.

The most impacted transport lines in GPSO territory:

  • Metro : 9, 10, 12
  • Tram: T2 and T3a

Bus lines will experience diversions depending on the activation of security perimeters around Olympic event sites.

All information will be displayed several weeks before the disruptions in the stops, stations and stations as well as on the buses concerned.
