Here are 13 games you shouldn’t miss

Although fatigue probably affected the appreciation of this conference, it must still be admitted that it was far from being unanimous. Between a long broadcast of more than two hours, the lack of diversity in the line-up, the jokes which only make the presenter laugh, which not everyone will necessarily appreciate, all the elements came together to make us tune out.

Like every year you might say, but we have this feeling that it’s getting worse and worse, as if it were the final catch-all. The observation is all the more striking at a time when digital formats are multiplying and comparison is easier. Which is, however, a shame because in this avalanche of trailers of uneven length and a total absence of editorialization, there are some great finds hidden. This is why we offer you a selection of 15 games that were worth keeping an eye on during the PC Gaming Show 2024.

Among the Wild

  • Platforms :PC
  • Date : Unknown

Starting the conference with Among the Wild, we could have hoped for a more colorful show than usual. It must be said that this first trailer reveals some rather shimmering graphics and creatures with silly smiles in an attempt to attract a little affect. And it’s quite successful. This first-person farming simulation game will ask you to mix with funny, fantastical creatures to build your farm, find resources and engage in some combat. A title which obviously (PC Gaming Show requires), will go through the early access box.

Worship

  • Platforms :PC
  • Date : Unknown

Let’s continue straight away with the announcements with a certain Worship. Although it would be easy to compare it with a Cult of The Lamb for its cult story and its roguelike component, however, it borrows more from the Pikmin license where we can transform the impious into faithful servants to give them orders under the cover of faith. A title overseen by the Montreal studio behind the friendly Strugglingborn from a brilliantly successful Kickstarter campaign in 2021. At the time, there was mention of a release on “PC and consoles”.

Last Moon

  • Platforms : PC – PS5 – PS4 – Xbox Series – Xbox One – Switch
  • Date : 2025

Since selected and presented several times at the AG French Direct, it is obvious that Last Moon is a game to watch. Probably already on your wish list, the action RPG inspired by 90s classics took advantage of the event to announce a demo available now. This allows you to discover the start of the game and try local cooperation.

Wander Stars

  • Platforms : PC
  • Date : Unknown

We tried to find slightly more original titles from this conference. And it must be admitted that the trailer for Wander Stars was enough to raise an eyebrow, with its vintage side and its 90s anime aesthetic. It is a turn-based RPG with some roguelite elements where you can create your own combinations of attacks by mixing the words.

Killing Floor 3

  • Platforms : PC – PS5 – Xbox Series
  • Date : Early 2025

We suspect that this is not a discovery since it is already eagerly awaited by the community. But it’s hard not to mention the appearance of Killing Floor 3, which was probably one of the most ambitious games of this conference (and one of the bloodiest). After several discreet teasers on their social networks, Tripwire Interactive reveals here the first real gameplay trailer while announcing an arrival in early 2025.

Go-Go Town!

  • Platforms : PC (later on consoles)
  • Date : June 18, 2024 (early access)

Total opposite in this selection with the adorable Go-Go Town! which released its release date for early access. This mix of city-builder and life simulation also adds a touch of Animal Crossing. As mayor, you will have to breathe new life into a dilapidated town by managing its shops, its inhabitants and its tourists by building, decorating, expanding and terraforming the surroundings.

Phantom Line

  • Platforms : PC
  • Date : Unknown

This one might be of interest to fans of tactical FPS. Phantom Line was announced in the evening with a first trailer and is presented as a first-person shooter in a supernatural setting. Originally known under the codename Project Hornet, it is the first game from Antistatic Studios, a new team founded by industry veterans who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 And BioShock. A cooperative title, playable alone or up to 4 people, which takes place on a post-nuclear European continent. A paranormal SWAT in short.

Rise of the Golden Idol

  • Platforms : PC – PS5 – PS4 – Xbox Series – Xbox One – Switch
  • Date : 2024

People who played excellent The Case of the Golden Idol inevitably await its sequel, Rise of the Golden Idol. The latter is expected this year and has revealed its first real gameplay trailer. An adventure which will plunge us into an America of the 1970s where we will have to carry out the investigation to unravel the secret of around fifteen cases, mixing crime, death and much worse.

Crescent County

  • Platforms :PC
  • Date : 2025

If many titles were already known or had difficulty standing out, we must give the PC Gaming Show credit for having presented some more original titles. This is (probably) the case of Crescent County, which wants to stand out with its open world and its concept of delivery simulation where wizard technology is used. Your means of transportation? A motor broom. A colorful, cozy slice of life, where you can make new friends and maybe more.

Copa City

  • Platforms : PC – PS5 – Xbox Series
  • Date : 2025

There are more and more management games. But a title named Copa City who wants to try a different approach, we didn’t necessarily see it coming. First production from a young Polish studio, Copa City will mix strategy and management of a tycoon-style football game. You will have to prepare cities in advance of a sporting event, entertain spectators before a match, anticipate the influx of visitors and many other aspects. A release is planned for next year.

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

  • Platforms: PC
  • Date: 2025

If there is no shortage of survival games, this selection is still a little lacking in zombies. This is why someone named is mentioned to you Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, a survival game, certainly, but which takes the challenge of transposing its 2.5D adventure into horizontal sidescrolling. Head to Texas in the 80s where the world succumbed to the traditional zombie epidemic. If there are classics of the genre with survival and crafting, you will also have to take care of the group by cooking and providing first aid, while aiming to leave the quarantine zone.

Hotel Galactic

  • Platforms : PC
  • Date : 2025

If its management mechanics seem relatively classic at first glance, Hotel Galactic has something to immediately charm us with its artistic style, greatly inspired by Studio Ghibli classics. With its beautiful introductory cinematic, and its marvelous landscapes, the title already makes you want to dive into it. For the rest, it is a question of a simulation of colonies and base constructions with a cozy ambition, where you have to build the tourist destination of your dreams.

Unbeatable

  • Platforms : PC
  • Date : 2025

This is undoubtedly one of the favorite titles of this conference: Unbeatable made his return after a long period of absence. This rhythm game is a special project since it was initially a smaller-scale project, the result of a thunderous Kickstarter, before taking on more ambitions. A game where music is illegal with a soundtrack that promises to be incredible and a concept that will certainly please fans of Old School Musical, Muse Dash, Rhythm Paradise and other rhythmic adventures.

Here is this selection of games from the PC Gaming Show 2024 not to be missed. In the absence of knowing how to hold a conference that would be interesting to watch, there were still some very nice titles to follow and watch out for. Of course, to this is added games already known and widely relayed on our site, such as the very promising Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. If you feel like it (and have the courage), the replay is available. Don’t hesitate to share your own selection with us.
