The game will focus on large areas to explore on horseback. The gameplay promises to be more nervous than ever: the title will arrive in 2025, without further details.

  • Silent Hill 2 remake causes some chills

We kind of expected it: Silent Hill 2 is here for this State of Play with a new gameplay trailer. Cinematics, action and a lot of horror for this survival horror which will arrive on PS5 on October 8, 2024.

  • Where Winds Meets makes its comeback

Already announced a while ago, Where Winds Meets confirms its presence on PS5. As a reminder, this will be an ambitious and particularly nervous Souls-like.

  • Marvel Rivals returns with a beta

Marvel Rivals, often sold as Overwatch with a Marvel superhero twist, returned with an action-packed gameplay trailer. A beta will be organized on PS5 in July 2024, with a new Spider-Man costume at stake.

  • A new Alien game, and in VR!

Alien Rogue Incursion will therefore be one of the next games in the legendary Alien franchise: it is a survival horror focusing on terror, planned in virtual reality and therefore for the PSVR2. It will be available at the end of 2024.

  • PSVR2 in the spotlight: Skydance’s Behemot announced

A brand new Dynasty Warriors opus has just been made official, with a gameplay trailer to support it. Omega Force is therefore at the helm of this new project called Dynasty Warrios Origins, which intends to offer a Muso with reinvigorated graphics.

  • God of War Ragnarok is coming to PC

It was an open secret: God of War: Ragnarok is therefore official on PC. The game will support ultra-wide aspect ratio, Nvidia DLSS 3.7 compatibility, AMD FSR 3.1, Intel Xess 1.3…

Scheduled for release on Steam on September 19, 2024.

  • Concord continues with gameplay

Right after the CGI trailer, Concord finally shows some gameplay. The game takes the form of a nervous FPS playable in cooperation, where it is possible to combine firearms and elemental powers within a colorful artistic direction. Several developers also comment on the gameplay sequences, promising free gameplay and rich in possibilities: numerous characters, each with their own abilities, will be made available.

The launch is scheduled for PS5 on August 23, 2024. A beta will be organized in July.

  • Concord opens the ball with a CGI trailer

It was expected and there was no shortage of it: Concord, a multiplayer FPS and service game, is the very first title presented in this State of Play. We were treated to a CGI trailer finally presenting us more concretely its science fiction universe with a colorful, explosive and not without humor tone. As a reminder, the software is developed by Firewalk Studios.

  • The State of Play begins!

It’s midnight: as promised, the State of Play begins. More than thirty minutes of broadcast are planned for fourteen video games and perhaps other surprises. As a reminder, you can watch the event streaming on Youtube, Twitch and even TikTok. We will put all the announcements here.

  • Anything new for the Horizon saga?

Horizon is one of Sony’s strong franchises, which we will also see adapted for the small screen through a Netflix series. The Japanese giant has other plans for the series: for example, a multiplayer game currently in development. On the other hand, a leak claims that a LEGO Horizon game is in the pipeline (yes, and it’s serious). So, maybe Aloy will make a comeback tonight, in one form or another.

  • New hardware?

PlayStation likes to offer accessories more and more: we had a new PS5 (the slim one), the DualSense Edge controller, the PlayStation Portal… We are therefore entitled to expect a new announcement this evening, between two video games. For example, the reveal of a PS5 Pro (the existence of which no longer seems to be in doubt) or simply new colors for the PlayStation 5 case or controller.

  • Marvel’s Wolverine finally on the program?

After having released two Spider-Man games, we know that Insomniac Games is currently working on Marvel’s Wolverine, a highly anticipated action game. The problem? It’s been years since we’ve had anything to sink our teeth into other than a very short video teaser (we won’t talk about the leaks, which have clearly damaged the studio). So, yes, Logan is eagerly awaited this evening at the State of Play. We will see.

  • A new remake (Bloodborne?)?

In life, you have to dream and never lose hope. Suffice it to say that when it comes to the remake of Bloodborne, potentially operated by the talented Bluepoint Games, millions of players have been dreaming and hoping for years and years. A deep and sincere wish, each new State of Play leading to the same prayers: will an overhaul of the famous fromSoftware game be announced this evening? Or would it just be a simple PS5 port? Wait & see.

  • The return of PSVR2?

The PlayStation VR 2 is a pretty formidable reality headset, packed with technology and very efficient. However, it would not sell as expected and there are not that many games planned for it. We know that VR will be on the program this evening and we can therefore bet on several options: the first is the announcement of a brand new game (or several). The second is a slightly more concrete highlighting of a title already revealed, like Metro Awakening which also looks very promising.

  • Until Dawn also present?

Released in 2015 as a PS4 exclusive, Until Dawn is a narrative game developed by Supermassive Games (The Quarry, The Dark Pictures) which had enjoyed great critical and commercial success. Sony still owns the rights and intends to exploit the potential of the title to the end: a remaster on PC and PS5 has been announced for 2024 and the State of Play will be the right time to release a release date. Incidentally, we remind you that a film is also in preparation.

  • A new game by Team Asobi?

Team Asobi is definitely one of the PlayStation studios that we should keep a close eye on. We owe him the Astro Bot saga and although the titles have often served as technological demos, many are convinced that the firm has enormous potential that must now be realized for good. We officially know that the company has been working on a PlayStation 5 exclusive for a while and rumors in the corridors agree that tonight will be the reveal. We believe in.

  • The return of Silent Hill 2?

So certainly, Konami recently announced a Silent Hill Transmission no later than tomorrow, during which we will have concrete news about the next games in the franchise. However, the publisher has joined forces with Sony, for example for the Silent Hill 2 remake which is a PS5 console exclusive and which will arrive this year: therefore, we would not be surprised to see James show up this evening, new trailer to support it. With a release date?

  • Will Concord show itself more concretely?

Now part of the PlayStation Studios family, Firewalk Studios is currently working on Concord, a first-person multiplayer game set in a science fiction universe. From what we know, it will be a game-service and for the moment, only a brief video teaser has been revealed. State of Play would be a good opportunity to show more, especially since the game is due out this year on PS5.

  • God of War Ragnarok announced on PC?

This is the announcement that many are expecting: leakers have been agreeing for a while now that God of War Ragnarok will be the next one to come to PC. Yesterday, another particularly reliable leaker, who had already spilled the beans regarding all the monthly PlayStation Plus games, claimed that the latest adventure of Kratos and Atreus will be available on Steam. And better yet, that its announcement would be imminent… Obviously, all eyes are on this evening’s State of Play. It would in any case be logical given Sony’s new policy.
